Gas tank repair

I am suffering the attack of the rusty gas tank. Anyone have an opinion on the various tank coating products?

I am happy the bearing blast the surface rust and the various cleaning treatments but you hear lots of stories about peeling tank linings, etc.

Failing the DIY approach, anybody know of a reputable company/individual that will treat/coat a tank?

VW bugs, buses, Type IIIs, Karmann Ghia, cycles, scooters, mopeds, I used Red Cote and it has never pealed.

Go to the motorcycle shop and buy a few of those cheap fuel filters before you jets get clogged

Thanks for the tip.
I was proactive once I saw the inside of that tank and installed one to each carb. I want to obviate any future problems though and do this right before I put it back together.
Next question, where can I find Red Kote?

I second Dave's Red Kote opinion, the stuff is amazing. I think it's available at NAPA stores among other auto parts places.
